I have an existing html website. I want to integrate a membership area (Register/subscribe, etc) that allows members to pay (PayPal) and subscribe to different subscriptions options on my website. Memberships for schools need invoices generate instead of PayPal payments. A php program like iSubscribe seem to fulfil these needs, but I need someone to integrate the program or design the solution in php for my website.
It should work as follows:
Visitors click on a specific link to a section on my website. Somewhere on the main page for this area they should have the opportunity to subscribe to access the different materials of that membership (e.g. pages with streaming video, pdf’s, etc). A part of the subscription/registration will allow them to make a membership payment that is valid for a specific time e.g. a year. If schools attempt to become members, they must have the option to pay immediately or have an invoice automatically generated with the details they provide. At this point they should only be registered until I have received and cashed their cheque. If possible, I must be able to know which members are logged on at specific times. Single user members must not be able to be logged on different machines at the same time. The solution must be user friendly to allow me to manage subscription, memberships, etc. If payment has been received through PayPal successfully, the member must have access to the resources (Automated process?). I would like the code generated from PayPal to run the transaction integrated into the website.
Once you have an official membership you would be given a login and password and would have the ability to login. The login would need to be emailed to the user when they signed up. A requirement of the login is for the user to have the ability to reset a password if they lose their login. I would like a database to be logging with all memberships so the admin can keep track of how many memberships they have.
I’ve had a look at iSubscribe and wondered if it can be adapted to my needs, otherwise a customised solution would be appreciated. I have access to MySQL databases through my service provider...
