Web based software for travel agency (offline) - for admin/employees online. Which should has:
Dashboard: This should be a clean and simple visual summary of key metrics, tasks, or updates. It can show booking status, active employees, latest news, upcoming bills, reminders, total expenses, etc.
Calendar: This module should allow employees to view and manage their schedule, check the booking and travel dates of clients, set reminders for important dates or tasks, etc.
Bookings: This section should include all the booking information like booking status, customer details, and payment status. It can have two sub-sections:
Offers: Details about all the travel offers should be available here. (if accepted, will changed its status to Invoices)
Invoices: This should contain all the invoices issued for the bookings, including the payment status.
Customers: This section should maintain a detailed database of all the customers, including their contact details, past booking history, payment history, feedback, etc.
Bills: This should contain a record of all the bills (incoming and outgoing). It should allow you to view, add, edit, and delete bills. It should also give reminders for due bills.
Suppliers: This should keep track of all the suppliers providing various travel-related services. It should contain their contact details, services they provide, their costs, and payment status.
Products: Here, you can list all the travel packages or services you are offering. It should allow you to add, edit, or remove products.
Employees: This section should keep track of all the employee details, their roles, working hours, salaries, leaves, and performance reviews.
Expenses: This section should help you track all the business-related expenses. It can include salaries, utility bills, maintenance costs, taxes, etc. It should also allow you to categorize expenses for easier tracking and analysis.
Referrals: This module should track all the referrals made by customers or partners. It should include details about the referee, referral reward, etc.
News: This section should keep everyone updated with the latest happenings, updates, or announcements in the company.
Shipping:this section should handle the tracking and management of shipments.
Reports: This is a very important section. It should generate various reports like sales reports, expense reports, customer reports, etc., to help you in decision making.
Settings: Here, the admin should be able to manage the software settings, user roles and permissions, security settings, etc.
NOTES:
Multi-Currency Support: The software should support multiple currencies for transactions. The prices of the travel packages, payments, invoices, and expenses should all be able to be set in any currency.
Main Currency Conversion: Despite dealing with multiple currencies, the software should have a main currency set for accounting purposes. Whenever a transaction is made in a different currency, the system should automatically convert and record the transaction value in the main currency. The exchange rate used for conversion should be either manually set or automatically updated from a reliable source.
