Develop a Windows 10 Kiosk Provisioning Package (.ppkg) that specifically uses the “[url removed, login to view]” extension to provision a Kiosk that brings the natively installed “Internet Explorer 11” application Above the Lock Screen so that no user needs to log on to use Internet Explorer 11 on the Kiosk. 1. Kiosk Security Controls
1.1. Following Microsoft “Kiosk apps for assigned access: Best practices”
[url removed, login to view] “Internet Explorer 11” to run above lock screen app utilizing the “[url removed, login to view]” extension.
1.2. Restrict creating new windows or views in assigned access mode.
2. Configure Shell Launcher
2.1. Assign the shell to be single and only the application designated to run the Camera Viewing Software “Internet Explorer 11”
2.2. Define a specific action to be performed when the shell exits to: “Restart the shell” (Return code: 0), this can be done through the “DefaultReturnCodeAction” setting
3. Set Assigned access method for Universal Windows apps
3.1. Restrict all except to “Internet Explorer 11”
3.2. Define (Sign out of assigned access) “IdleTimeOut” to 10 seconds
