Troubleshoot problem about linking into Database under Unix server (Hosting)

Hello, I have bought domain and web hosting plan (Unix-based web hosting). Then installed "yourls" ([login to view URL]) link shortener into my server. Before I start to install "yourls", I could see in my host (server) only two folders: one called "cgi-bin" and the other called "htdocs". Those 2 folders are not mentioned in the installation instructions of "yourls" website. It might be the instructions to install "yourls" are given for windows-based hosting and not unix-based hosting. Now I managed to install "yourls" link shortner, but i got one error say: "Fatal error, Incorrect DB config, or could not connect to DB ". So, I NEED HELP TO SOLVE THIS ERROR AND MAKE "YOURLS" WORK.
