Hi, I'm seriously looking for a good candidate / team to deliver the following:
Using a webcam (or Intel Realsense Depth Camera D435) to track a single person’s head position (most possibly using OpenCV), and shift a video in the opposite direction of the head and gaze position, so that it creates an illusion of parallax effect (similar to the parallax effect done in html using the cursor).
See reference. Note: the right hand portion in the reference vid, is an AR KIT render, but I’m NOT looking at AR KIT, only moving a bigger video clip (possibly 360 Video) around the cropped frame based on the head position.
Three weeks to develop in total. Total budget for entire project, right down to a working product is SGD$2,500.
Developer has the option to deliver component by component. But bear in mind, the total deadline and budget is fixed.
The resulting code needs to work with a headless Raspberry Pi and webcam, in almost real-time. Rough collage of reference here: [url removed, login to view]
The candidate needs experiences in similar coding languages and using OpenCV library. Needs to be able to work on Raspberry Pi 3 (or 3+) - including setting up of it, to work with the resultant code. Needs to be able to deliver as promised (IMPORTANT). Needs to be able to work collaboratively to iron out any bugs in prototypes, and eventually to delivery.
This same candidate will be considered top-of-mind for future paid maintenance and updates etc.
