I have a multisite using Drupal and Civicrm for nonprofits. I have 2 issues that I need a fix for.
1. Shared SSL for multisites
I need to configure Civicrm so that the contribution payment pages for the multiple sites use one common shared SSL domain. This can be done easily but the problem is when the sites share the SSL domain, all the Civicrm content and contacts are shared as well for the multiple sites because of the same SSL domain. I need the contribution pages to be secure using the same SSL domain but somehow configured to use the contacts database for the respective multisite and not the contacts database tied to the SSL domain (i.e. separate Civicrm content and contacts).
2. Combine Civicrm profile to Drupal registration
I need to add more custom fields to the Drupal registration page other than the email and password. This is simple in Drupal alone to do; however, I need to have Civicrm’s custom data profile added in with the Drupal registration. The reason is that when data is entered by the user during registration, that data needs to be in Civicrm’s database where the user’s contact profile is stored. There must be a way to connect the two so that I can get the standard Drupal registration fields and the custom Civicrm fields on the same registration page.
I’m not looking for entire new modules just some tweaking of Drupal and Civicrm so that they integrate better. My multisite is already installed, configured and working with the above 2 exceptions that I need fixed as soon as possible. I’m using Drupal 5.2 and Civicrm 1.8.
Project budget raised to a range of $100-200.
