Specification for Password Controlled Login
I am looking for a simple system in PHP/MySQL that I can plug into a web site. It will act as a password controlled login to a web page which will feature downloads etc.
DATABASE
I require a MySQL database with the following fields:
© name
© contact
© address
© contact email
© telephone number
© comments
© actions
© password (chosen by user)
© where found (where site found – choose from drop down menu)
© date start (date data input)
© date end (default 1 year with option to change via admin)
Search will be by name, date start and email address – name is the prime key.
SET UP
I will also require a process from which to build the database tables on set up – I can set the permissions on the MySQL database. You will be provided with the password and database name.
CUSTOMER INPUT
I will also require a form to input these details -via a generally available html web page. There should also be the ability for user to change their password from within their account.
Once the password is checked to be correct then access to another page (Customer Information Page) should be automatic.
There must be a facility to email for details of a lost password.
CUSTOMER INFORMATION PAGE
This page should only be accessible via the correct password from the customer input screen. If it is possible to make the page url different each time (random) this would be great.
On entry into the customer’s area a view of their details will be available – at the top of the page, with space for a down load facility.
I can place headers and footers on the page – but please leave space on the PHP script to allow for this to be done in html.
ADMIN
The admin section will include:
© a secure log on facility
© ability to change the admin log on from within admin only
© a search facility on the database details – to bring up customer details by name, date start and email address.
© A facility to allow for search, add, delete, update, change of the saved details via a simple form.

GENERAL
It is for a membership site and requires to be secure - e.g. DO NOT put my variables in an easily found file such as [url removed, login to view] or [url removed, login to view]
I have my own server with MySQL and PHP 4.
I am looking for a customized script not something off of hotscripts etc.
This script, on full payment, will belong to my company– you may place a link in the script to your web site as the developer of the script only.
