To build an Insurance rating engine and website (front-end and Back-end). The insurance rating engine and website application will be for Personal lines (Car, Home, Travel and Life Insurance) and for Professional Insurance ( Public liability, Professional Indemnity, Employers liability insurance) and also for Claims for 3 groups Insures, Intermediary/Brokers and Members of the Public ( each of these groups will have the following users Brokers, Underwriters, Accounts, Marketing and Normal Users) each with a unique license and login. The Underwriter has access to the back end who sets rating factors, prices to determine insurance premiums and see all policies purchased, pending, not purchased and due for renewal. The underwriter can also change the price for the broker when the broker has produced a premium for different insurers. The Broker user is able to enter policies already purchased like data entry. Is able to generate premium for clients and can see different quotes and has the ability to enter a promocode to change the price. The promocode is generated by the underwriter. Normal user can get enter details and generate quotes Accounts and Marketing able to do their operational works. Claims where the Normal user and broker can make a claim and the underwriter can review and approve or reject the claim with reasons. There will be policy documents generated when a policy is generated and purchased which will be displayed for all users and have the opportunity to email the policy documents to their email address. Customers will be prompted 60days and 30days to the expiry of their policy document via email and text and if with a new premium and auto renew if customer does not respond There will be a payment integration for easy purchase of policies via a gateway and mobile money. Users: Underwriter means website super admin they control the all thing on website On back-end, set prices, make changes, approve quotes which has been declined, give broker promocode to reduce price Insurance companies each have an underwriter and they all have different access and set their own prices The broker and the normal user is the only one who can see different premiums for all the insurance companies and also it is only the broker who can speak to each underwriter to get them to give them promocode to reduce price
