Hello, we have a website which is functioning very very slowly (always has done), and is almost unusable by today's standards. We believe this is because there is a whole ton of unused code being loaded that doesn't need to be loaded. And although we can use a simple and very much free solution of deleting this unused code with something like [login to view URL], we don't want to risk corruption anywhere on the site. So we are looking for an articulated hand in this. There are also some occasional issues that may be part of the same problem, and that's some pages load some sort of default content over the intended content – as if the original build was initially cloned from another site and sometimes this content is loaded instead of the intentional content created. We currently remedy this by emptying the website's cache every month or so. This is just a simple portfolio website so there's no need for SEO or anything like that. Load time is the only objective. A simple website built and maintained on WordPress. Thank you in advance.

Hello, I will definitely optimize the WordPress website as much as possible. Can you please share the code access so that I can go through the code and can fix the issues? Here are some of the issues we need to take care of and are suggested by Gtmetrix to be debugged: We need to serve scaled images. It could save 1.4 Mb. We need to optimize Images. We need to combine images using CSS sprites. We need to do defer the parsing of JavaScript. We need to minify JavaScript, leverage Browser caching, Inline small CSS, and many more. The main reason behind achieving this result is because I am able to successfully defer Js and CSS which is the toughest task of speed optimization.
