I would like to extract specific data from an XML webpage, and have the data shown nicely on a wordpress page.
The XML page has loads of different currencies and exchange rates (you can view an example of the XML page here) - [url removed, login to view]
The XML URL pages change every month.
1017 = October 2017
0917 = September 2017
So when 01st November comes around, the URL will be [url removed, login to view]
At the moment this doesn't exist (but it will do on the 1st November.
So this is what I would like the PHP code to do.
Firstly determine the month and year to fetch the correct URL.
You can base this on the current date.
Please bare in mind that when January 2018 comes around, the URL will end with 0118 (01 = January / 18 = 2018).
Then I would like the php code to get the xml data and neatly display it in a table type format (if possible I would like the table 'lines' to be hidden).
There is one more thing, I don't want to get ALL of the currencies. I only want to get 9 of them.
2. US Dollar
3. Indian Rupee
4. Canadaian Dollar
5. Japanese Yen
6. Norwegian Krone
7. Singapore Dollar
8. Thai Baht
9. Turkish Lira
