Please read VERY carefully.
eBay Scraper & Documenter
The program will accept a text file as input and produce as output another .txt file.
The input file will be a text file which will have eBay item #, in each line. (See the attached file).
The output file will be a text file which will follow the specifications of the attached .xls file.
It will be an HTML File that will produce the results according to the options selected in the GUI.
Title of the page : eBay Scraper & Documenter Tool for HbH.
There will be an input Field where the title inside the HTML File will be asked.
e.g. if the Title input is : "More Baby Walker Options in our Store" is typed in, then inside the output txt/HTML file there will be this title. Please check the attached file .xls to know what I mean.
Below there will be buttons with the following options :
2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10.
The user will have to choose one of these buttons.
This choice represents the number of images that will be produced in the output txt/HTML file.
Please find below the width of each picture and the # of characters from the respective eBay title according to the number chosen.
02. 49%, 80 char.
03. 33%, 80 char.
04. 24%, 80 char.
05. 19%, 60 char.
06. 15%, 50 char.
07. 13%, 40 char.
08. 11%, 30 char.
09. 10%, 30 char.
10. 09%, 25 char.
The pictures used in the txt/HTML file will be the medium quality pictures stored on eBay with the ending "_12".
There will be an upload button which will accept the input file.
Once the Upload button is hit the software will scrape and then produce the output file.
Right below there will be a place where we could download the output .txt/HTML file.
There will also be two more buttons next to the download button.
These two buttons will be marked as : Text, View.
Once the button Text is clicked, in a new tab the user will be able to see the TEXT of the output file, and will be able to copy if he so wishes.
Once the button View is clicked, in a new tab the user will be able to see the EXACT result of the HTML file, as is shown on the browser.
If item # is missing, program will continue and will create a blank line, with only the item #.
If inside the eBay item title there is a comma it has to be Ignored and Stripped... NOT replaces with a space.
If any of the items are missing the program has to continue until the end, it will only create blank "fields".
The title in the description will be found in the title of the eBay item.
