To the lovely people of freelancer.com My company has recently put together a WordPress/WooCommerce build for an online art gallery. I'm pleased to report that the client has been very pleased with what we've done, but would like a subtle change made to the product page here: [login to view URL] At present, products are listed by how recent they are and then sub-sorted by stock levels. The new requirement is to sort them by product category name (the names of the artists are the categories) - we have set up a custom field called "Sorting Name" for each category that should help with this. Effectively, the client would like the products ordered by the artist's last name (e.g. Francis Bacon, Charming Baker, Banksy, Wilhelmina Barns-Graham and so forth). After this, products should be sub-sorted by stock level as before. The idea here would be to create a custom query that is only used on the store page (and would be set up on the Theme's [login to view URL]).
