We use Wordpress and we want to connect our website to a payment system provided by [login to view URL], and do so securely. We have already signed up on authorize.net. We want this to be integrated into our site so it looks like it belongs with us.
We do not sell things. We are a non-profit that receives donations. So we are not interested in a full commerce solution or shopping cart and all that.
I would like a form that allows me to easily add or subtract donation options. The donation options will likely be a drop-down list or two that contains the names or projects of recipients of the donation:
Missionary name 1...m
There could be about 25 options in this list (or lists). Not sure if a drop-down is the best way to do it.
Then we need a field to specify any comments or special instructions.
Then we need the standard name, address, phone, credit card number, verification code, etc.
Then a submit button.
After the payment is successfully processed, have the ability to link to a thank-you page with a summary of the donation and other information that I can change whenever I want.
We are hoping to avoid paying a subscription fee for any Wordpress plugins or other software. But we will consider doing so if we are advised it is needed.
All of the above is stage 1.
In the future, I would like to be able to have the form partially pre-populated with information. I have a page for each missionary that can receive donations. On that page, I would like a "donate" button that would take the user to the general donation form, and information about the recipient of the donation was pre-filled (or, I supposed, it could be a special page that looks very much like the general donation page). This is stage 2.
