Our WordPress site at [login to view URL] gathers individual Daily Predictions for our subscribers via an API connection to a predictions provider.
Then it uses a Cron task to email those predictions to our subscribers in a manner unknown by me, but certainly not through Amazon Simple Email Service.
We have gained verification from Amazon that our site is authorized to use their Service.
This job requires you to switch the delivery of the emails from whatever system is in place now to Amazon SES. The new arrangement MUST use an API, not SMTP.
There are 2 cron tasks that need editing.
The first one applies to a test list of subscribers, the 2nd applies to all subscribers on the site.
Already any new messages we create in Mailster are configured to use Amazon.
But the cron tasks are a mystery. According to Amazon statistics, Amazon does not process them. So how are they being transmitted?
You will notice that there are two cron tasks on the site, one active and one inactive. Please allow the inactive one to remain inactive, but configure it to send out thru Amazon when we activate it later.
Proof of the success of your work will be shown in the Amazon Sending Statistics page.
It may take a couple of days to verify completely.
