We need to Configure Apache or any other system on Windows Pc to stream videos to Local users on the same network. We will like to use Html 5 media player so it can stream to all mobile platform .We have a media website which is running on the Windows server already with apache installed. but it is not playing the videos to local users device. When accessed the site shows up to the local users device but the videos don't play..

Hi there, i see you have a website hosted on your windows machine from which you would like your locally connected devices to be able to stream video content using html5 to achieve cross-device compatibiltiy. I would like to know,do intend on streaming live video or playback of already uploaded video files? The ideal way would be to create a script that automatically encodes any uploaded video to the necessary html5 playable formats (for different browsers and devices) using ffmpeg then add some html5 video player to the website to play it properly. Have you got a media server configured along with Web server. To stream videos it's important to configure a media server. I can help you configure some open source media server for local streaming. If possible please message the details like the format of the videos you are trying to stream.
