WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE:
To create an innovative way to leverage Gym Members experience data, from three primary sources:
1. Medallia ([login to view URL])
2. Facebook Recommendations
3. Google Reviews
o Please see attached example of an Excel export file from Medallia.
o Medallia has APIs to automate this process – this needs to be implemented to automate the input process into the webapp.

• Take the data from these three sources and feed that data automatically via APIs into our website / web app.
o Google Reviews is important – most new joiners to a gym search for locations in Google Maps where our rating is displayed.
o Facebook Recommendations – this rating also is displayed in Google search results.
• Website needs to be optimized for desktop and mobile devices so it can be accessed anytime and anywhere. This is catering to business owners and gym staff/ fitness professionals that are time-poor and work on the go.
o Build website/web app and/or iOS and Android apps?
• Various access level types/restrictions
o An “Owner” of a gym, may also be an owner of other businesses or brands, so we need to take into account multiple brands and owners.
o Examples: Brand (example: Anytime Fitness, City Cave), Owner (example: franchisee), Operations (example: Operations Manager, Regional Manager), Club Manager and Fitness Professional.
o To get started, my three gyms will be trialing this only – three Anytime Fitness clubs (Waterford, Sinnamon Park and Eight Mile Plains). If successful, a wider trial will include other Owners (franchisees / business owners) and gyms outside of my own three clubs, and in the future multiple brands (e.g. Anytime Fitness, City Cave).
• Why create this website / web app? Currently, Medallia has many limitations which my website will address:
o Superior visibility of customer experience performance across an entire company (ie multiple gyms or businesses can have their performance displayed with no manual analysis required) and multiple sources (Medallia, Facebook Reviews and Google Reviews)
o Superior reporting – via the Settings page, Owners and Operations Managers can assign Responses/Surveys to individual staff members. They can also assign Member ID’s to the respondent so a history of responses/feedback is created for each Member (as a member will receive a Medallia survey 30 days after signing up, then every 180 days thereafter).
o Currently, as an owner of multiple businesses/gyms, I need to log in separately to view each gyms data in each source. There is no easy way to see the performance or trend of each/every gym side-by-side – this is currently all done manually.
o Via the Settings page, Owners and Operations Managers can choose to set a Target (LTR only) for each individual Club. Makes the results competitive and front of mind for each Club Manager to achieve the “Required Promoters” to achieve their monthly target. Also takes out the guess work – staff can see based on the set target, the number of Promoters/advocates required to achieve that target.
o In the future and as more owners come on board, we will want to see performance of owners, businesses/branded gyms nationally and potentially internationally.
