I want to automate the process of cooperative advertising packages.
People will visit a web page that lists Ad Co-op's for various MLM
programs. They see a short description of each program and a link
under that where they can visit the site and join if they want.
They click on a link or button to go to the Ad Co-Op's page for a
particular program on that list. On that page they would see a
number of different ad co-op's available.
Each ad co-op will have a short description, total shares in that
co-op, number of shares still available (should count down
automatically as people buy shares), and the cost per share.
Under that they can order shares. There should be a place for people
to enter their User ID for that program. From that I will be able to
get their affiliate link. Under that a place for them to enter their
email address. Under that is a box where they enter how many shares
they want. That should calculate their total cost. Under that they
see 2 payment buttons. One for AlertPay and one for PayPal.
When all the available shares for a co-op have been sold the ability
to order should be disabled somehow showing 'sold out - please check
back soon when this co-op is reset'.
When someone orders shares it should put all that information (the
co-op ID so I know which one they purchased shares in, their user
ID, number of shares they purchased, and their email address, in my
The purpose of the admin area is for me to enter co-op groups, all
the details for each ad co-op in each group, the ability to reset an
ad co-op so people can start buying shares for the next one, and all
the information for an ad co-op that all shares were sold for.
When I enter the details for an ad co-op I want to be able to enter
the actual cost for that ad and have the script automatically add
24%. Then I want to be able to play with the number of shares until
I get a cost per share that is reasonable while at the same time
limiting the number of shares so the visits are not split up too
The programming skill for this script is very basic. I don't need a
fancy website or anything. I can always add a premade template or
header later on myself. My goal is to make this more automated than
it would be for me to constantly edit the HTML on a web page.
My regular programmer has too many projects right now and can't get
to this one for 3 weeks or more and I want it done now. He says it
would only take him 1 day to do this if he had the time so that's
what I'm expecting.
