I am an industrial designer from germany and need some improvement in my design process.
What do I need?
I need a automation script for my adobe Illustrator print files.
There is a common workflow witch I want to have automated. I would also like to use a userform to type in the titelblock informations. Also there should be a button for either starting the script or cancel. I already named the textforms in the AI-file so you should easy access them through the script.
The informations in the titelblock need to be filled with a userform.
The file will be saved in the project folder with a given plannumber comming from my access-database (format IRxxxxx-xxx). This part doesn't realy need automation. For each project the folder differs. I'll save the file manually here. It would be cool if there is a Save-As-Button in the form.
The file need to be saved with the Partnumber ARxxxxxxxx as filename under C:\Users\fvo\Desktop\AR-Nummern Ablage\ARxxxxxxxx\
Where the folder ARxxxxxxxx has to be created.
It has to contain two file formats. First a PDF as copy with [login to view URL] and second a jpg ARxxxxxxxx.jpg.
