This will offer people the opportunity to book on-demand senior care services. Families can schedule/book services instantly, on-demand. Similar to Uber, however families are booking caregivers to come to homes.
1. Customer User:
Customers will visit the website and search for options in their area for caregivers, and assisted living facilities. In order to actually complete a booking, a customer must create a profile on the website. The profile should have zip code, pictures, a bio/background of them and their situation. We will also need to be able to verify their identity.
The most important aspect of the customer profile is the ability to request a caregiver instantly. So there should be a button that says "Request a caregiver visit now". When that button is pressed, it will automatically show caregivers within a designated mile radius of the customers zip code who are logged into the system, and ready to provide services to customers on-demand. The customer can then see the caregivers in their area and their profiles, and once they determine a caregiver they want to hire, they'll click on a button on the caregivers profile that says "Hire this caregiver now". When that happens, it connects the two, and the customer can then select the number of hours of service needed. The system will then process payment based on the number of hours, the caregivers hourly rate, and add in the "booking fee" that we will charge, and the customer pays directly through our system for the services.
2. Caregiver User:
Caregivers are basically like drivers are for Uber. Caregivers need to be able to setup their own profiles including pictures, videos, a bio/resume, hourly rate, and then a place that shows any reviews that actual customers have left for them and their services. I'd like to have the caregivers identity also verified. The more options to verify someones identity, the better. Caregivers log into the system via the iOS app, and their GPS location will then allow them to serve any customers requesting services near them by displaying their profile to the customers. When a caregiver is selected by a customer for services, they will then be shown in the system as "currently hired". The customer who hired them can view their current GPS location so that the customer knows when to expect the caregiver to arrive.
When a caregiver arrives at the customers location GPS will then match them to the location of the customer confirming that they are actually there. The caregiver will then select "Start Services" in the iOS app and that will start their actual visit to the customer. Once they are done, the caregiver will select "Complete Services" and that ends the services/visit.
While the caregiver is on-site at a customers location we will track the services being performed. Caregivers and their profiles will need to be able to be reviewed.
3. Admin User: Ability to oversee everything within the system.
4. Manager User: Ability to oversee most things within the system, as permissions are outlined by the Admin user.
5. Assisted Living User: We will also offer the ability for families to actually book respite (short-term) stays for their loved ones in an assisted living facility. Assisted Living users will be the accounts for the actual assisted living facilities. Needs to offer facility name, pictures, video, history, bio, respite pricing per day.
Assisted Living users will be able to advertise openings that they have available for short-term (respite) stays. Think of this as "Priceline", but instead of hotels selling their empty rooms, it will be assisted living facilities selling their empty beds for short-term stays. The facilities can select how many rooms they have available, and then select a price per day for the respite stay, and families can book that room right on the website
