I need a simple javascript applet to provide html pages to web browsers. Basically the HTML page source should be something like this:
<html>
<script type='text/javascript'>
var pageno=2;
</script>
<script type='text/javascript'>
src='[login to view URL]';
</script>
</html>
The pageno variable identify a page that the script [login to view URL] provides then to the browser. I want it to be made this way as there are some server limits that do not allow to use other (server side) scripting languages.
When this page is loaded in the browser, the javascript should create an HTML insert in the whole page that is being displayed. I.e. I need to make a template with several type of contents, insert this javascript lines and the script shall insert some other HTML lines in my page (this contents vary avvording to the pageno variable).
I assume this is a joke for a Javascript programmer
