I'm looking for someone experienced in PHP/MySQL (other programming languages would work equally fine I think) and in parsing XML feeds.
Here is an example of something, not the same, but similar to what I am looking for: [url removed, login to view]
I am currently looking to develop an open source tool on [url removed, login to view] to create (on auto pilot) the charts that you see on this page: [url removed, login to view]
I need someone who would know how to create a self updating google api chart and simple user interface; I'll show you some examples, and I do personally know how to do some of this so it shouldn't be too difficult for you. The database is going to be a mySQL on the host I run [url removed, login to view] off of. There is a way to backdoor scrape ESPN using something called gameday api, and I'll show you how to do that.
I can send you the exact procedure for more information.
I can work with you to complete this project using the Google API and either PERL or PHP for the script work. Let me know when you would like to get started and we can review the details.
