We are looking for an experienced web developer to help us build a suite of online activism tools. The target audience for these tools would be non-profit, advocacy, and political campaign clients. Some of the parts of the suite would include online fundraising, viral tell-a-friend, event RSVP, personalized login pages, and some advocacy tools. All of the various parts would be tied together into a single system so that the user could see his past actions and also see all of the various options available to him under one personalized login.
The main development would consist of a combination of coding new components from scratch, while also modifying existing open source systems to meet our needs. It would be an in-house position primarily focused on this project with an extended timeframe. I am wondering how long something like this would take and what the associated costs would be. If you want more details, or if any of this interests you, please email <resumes@[url removed, login to view]>
