The betting exchange betfair has an API which I wish to connect to and use the services available.
The service requires each user to log on to the system with a username password and product id. These values are verified on the soap header. Everytime a request is made to the service it has to contain the authentication details in the soap header as well as the body of the message.
I require a system that will use the WSDL of the service and enable me to call all the possible services written in VB 6 or VB.Net. The WSDL file can be obtained from <[url removed, login to view]>
I enclose a detailed specification that hopefully makes it a lot clearer as well as the API documentation and an example of the service written for use within excel so the code should be very similar. VB6 Class examples and XML samples are also included. The specification refers to the project written in VB6, please take all references to VB 6 to mean VB 6 OR VB.NET
The candidate needs to be familiar with web services, the soap protocol, complex types and VB 6 or VB.Net.
Only bid on the project if you feel you are capable of completing it.
