[url removed, login to view] is a new Real Estate listing site. We have secured an agreement with a real estate company (the "Client")who wishes to place all of their listings on the [url removed, login to view] site.
The client has provided us with an XML/RSS integration manual to allow searches of their database. We would like to have a program written that periodically searches all listing in the Client's database, and updates the [url removed, login to view] database accordingly (i.e. bringing in new records, and updating or deleting existing records, if needed).
[url removed, login to view] is written in PHP using a MySQL database. The client has the capability to generate XML feeds in various formats (RSS1, RSS2, ATOM), depending on our preferences. In addition, a complete integration manual will be provided in advance of the project, including database layout and protocols.
We are a web development firm, so we have a good idea of the number of hours involved (and the project tasks) for someone that knows what he/she is doing. We are not necessarily looking for the lowest price on this project - we want a competent, reliable programmer who we can communicate with, and who will charge us a fair price.
