I need a whiteboard application for the home building business where one can select from a drop down menu one of several house plans that would then be imported to the whiteboard background in the form of a floor plan and front elevation. The GUI would need a toggle to flip the plan vertically as well as check-boxes to select a different elevation style (see attached example). Unlike the attached example, the room identification text needs to flip with the plan but needs to be oriented correctly, not reversed. On top of this, the GUI would need drawing applications for line, arc, circle, and text as well as a "stamps" component to apply various predefined stamps to the drawing. There would also need to be a toggle to turn on/off an "electrical plan" layer. Once a plan is imported and marked-up, it needs to be savable for future use/editing and able to be exported or printed to a PDF from the GUI using a "print" icon.
I envision the plan files (floor plans and elevations) being maintained in a database table and the drop down list created from that database table, enabling other plans to be added at a later date. GUI needs to be brand-able (perhaps using XML file) for use on multiple projects with different logos. Open to any ideas on how to make this easier and work as desired.
