We are looking for a programmer that is experienced in Wordpress, databases and plugins.
This is a relatively small project but if everything goes well there is potential for future work.
Essentially we are creating a site using the Wordpress CMS for fitness/gym enthusiasts. The idea is for users to enter their details and select food information, and the site then gives them specific feedback.
We think we will utilise the 'Calculated fields form' plugin: [url removed, login to view] (developer version), as it will allow us to do the required formulas, but it requires a bit of tweaking...
We will need a developer to help with sorting out:
1. A way to read various foods and their information from a database and show this as a drop down in the page form.
2. If a food is not in the database, the user can enter a food manually and this will automatically add to the database.
2. Users will have the option to sign-up/login to save their daily food inputs, so there will need to be a database that saves all of this and can be brought up (shown on the user's page) when required.
3. All user data needs to be sanitised (protected) so that hackers cannot get the information.
Please see the excel document attached for a rough idea of the way it will work.
We will do the design/aesthetics side, but we anticipate the programming could be done in 1-2 days.
Please provide us with examples of past work when applying for this job and how long you expect it to take you.
Hi What about Calories, Protein, Carbs and Fats information? Will user add them by himself? Or you will first review this item and add details by your side?
