I use an access database that I need to capture a users login (from a windows server 2003 / xp client network) when the open the database. I need at a minimum four fields added to the three tables specified below that track "UserAdded (text)", "DateAdded (date/time)", "LastChangedUSer(text)", "DateLastChanged(date/time)". Exceptional consideration will be given to coder that takes it one step further to add two additonal fields "ComputernameAdded (text)" and "ComputernameChanded (text)" to store the name of the machine adding/changing.
Tables:
Client Case Notes (CM)
Client CasePlan - Goals
Client CasePlan - Objectives
The attached database will have these tables, and the associated forms/queries for coder to input test data and view table to ensure usernames are stored correctly.
For now I don't need to know the element changed, just that a change occured to said record and by who. The username should be the network username not the local windows xp username since that will most likely be "administrator".
I also need instrucitons as to how this is accomplished for my staff to replicate to other tables. Depending on quality of work and cost I may use coder again for remaining tables (extensive).
If appropiate/possible I would like to use code related to the attached link: <[login to view URL]>
I don't want the database to use Access security or involve the mdw files.
Lastly, if code referenced above isn't used, coders method must can't call for installing additional resources outside of access (active-x etc...)
