Currently we make two products. Rom Law and Deans Law Dictionary. The products are designed in VFP 9.0.
Here is a link to download the bigger of the two.
<[url removed, login to view]> This product download includes both products. Download and install it and it will work in demo mode for 3 days.
We need to redesign out of VFP 9.0 and make the product easier to use as well as to create effective Digital Rights Management for Vista and possibly move the design over to Linux to allow Mac users to install it and use it.
There will be minor additions to the user features and a division of the product into 7 databases instead of just one. This is so the administrator can easily upgrade each segment to the clients and also create new data versions of the product without creating a new software build as is required under the VFP 9.0 version of the product.
The designers must have experience with Vista issues. Linux is a plus as we would like to have the same designer do a Linux version so we can eventually transfer out of Vista to Linus on both Mac and PC.
VFP cannot be the design program. It must be something current and readily supported for the foreseeable future.
We envision a detailed examination by the designer of the current product and functions as most all of them will remain the same except for minor additions to user friendliness.
To any interested bidders we can supply a list of changes to current functions in detail so you can make a knowledgeable estimate of the total time and cost to complete.
The designer should also be ready to support the product on a continued basis.
