I require an enhancement to an existing Windows Forms utility class but pressure of current work prohibits me from spending time on it.
The class enables users to modify the position and size of controls at runtime using a standard user-interface with a dotted-line frame and 8 grab-handles.
The current code-base is written in C# and requires expert knowledge of Windows, Windows Forms and the .NET framework and in particular you should understand GDI+ graphics, reflection and the .NET type system. A sound knowledge of Win32 will be an advantage.
The enhanced class must do the following:
#1 Draw on top of all child windows in the host container control.
#2 Add logic to optionally prevent the top-left grab-handle being moved past the bottom or right. Default behavoiur will be as for version 1 which does allow this.
#3 Add the ability to edit a group of RectTracker objects at once so that sizing rules are similar to groups of objects selected and sized in Microsoft Word or the Visual [url removed, login to view] design time.
Additions will be made to current source code. You must have Visual [url removed, login to view] 2003
1. The vendor will supply all source code, test projects, working notes and drawings.
3. inline XML documentation will be required to update the current documentation with any new properties or methods and their explanations
2. The current deployment project will be modified to include the DLL resulting from the new work and the new help document built with nDoc
3. The work will be considered as a "Work made for hire" under U.S. copyright laws and all rights to code will be conferred upon the software buyer. No open-source, GPL, GNU or non-original code must be used.
Must run on Microsoft .NET framework version 1.1 and all supported platforms.
