Coder will develop a Windows 2000 application that will process the attached sample multipage DjVu file (4.5 MB) and export each page to a 24-bit TIFF (preferably compressed LZW) at full original resolution. Each page will produce separate output images as [url removed, login to view], [url removed, login to view], [url removed, login to view], [url removed, login to view] etc, where XXX is the basename. The Buyer has chosen not to use the DjVuLibre libraries which are available, as these libraries require an intermediate conversion to Postscript and then conversion with Ghostscript. This involves too much time and processor overhead. A direct batch solution is needed, thus this request. Considerable information and developer resources on this format are available starting at: [url removed, login to view] and [url removed, login to view] . Coder's deliverables must be either: (1) able to be called from the MS-DOS Command Line in the format: DJVU2TIFF [sourcefilename] [destfilename] or (2) a Windows app with the file dialog allowing multiple selection of source files so that hundreds of DjVu files can be processed at once (in batch). The output base filename will match that of each source file.
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
Windows 2000 or Windows 2000 Command Line.
