Sports book

Need a multi level sports book site for users and agents. The site will also track wins and losses in a form of contests for promotions such as giveaways for users with the highest winning percentages for weeks, a sports category, wins in a row, losses in a row, etc. The site does not collect any money so a payment processor is not needed. The site will also include a profile page where the users can post selections on their picks and allow other users to post to them.

For an idea, think of a Twitter for sport picks and check out the link at Covers Contests

UPDATE TO BE CLEARER ON PROJECT SCOPE

Please review all attached images! This is the exact layout UI I am looking for. Something that is very simple and straight forward.

Multi-level sportsbook: Types of bets in the sportsbook are as follows. If Win Bet, Straight Bet, Action If Bet, Parlay, Teaser, Win Reverse, Action Reverse, Round Bet.

1. Admin - Create betting odds, adjust betting odds, add/delete agents, view open wagers, view open client wagers, view account balances of each client.

2. Agent - Add/delete client, set a line of credit for each client, view the account balance of each client, view open client wagers.

3. Client - Ability to place wagers, view open wagers, view history of wagers placed (up to 2 weeks),

Functions:

1. The results are not displayed in real time.... However, the database needs to pull the final scores from sites such as Yahoo Sports or ESPN and settle the open wagers accordingly. Admins need the ability to settle and or change the settled wagers as well.

2. Agents do not communicate with clients via website. This is only a local sportsbook, so the agents collect the payments from the clients on a weekly basis.

3. Clients place wagers on a line of credit that the agents apply to their accounts when they are signed up by the agent.

4. Currently at this time, I only need a sportsbook. The provider I choose for this project will be my future provider for updates and enhancements to the site on a monthly basis as I received feedback from our clients.

5. The site will not accept payments of any form on the site. The agents collect payments from the clients in person on a weekly basis.

Agents - Front End:

- Agents would be able to Sign Up on the site.

1. Yes, however when they do, admin must approve their request to register. Reason being, is that the agent will need to send us a sign up fee via PayPal. No need for payment processor, admin will just notify agent of what PayPal address to send payment to.

- Registered agents would be able to login

1. Yes, once a agent has been approved, they will be able to log into the site.

- Registered agents would be able to retrieve forgot password.

- Logged agents would be able to manage their profile.

1. Logged agents will be able to manage their accounts. No need for profiles.

- Logged agents would be able to add/delete client.

1. Correct. One thing I forgot to mention is the following. Agents that are adding new clients to their accounts, are also setting max wagers amount per wager and min wager amount per wager. Example, $50 wager would be min and $300 would be max depending on agent/client request.

- Logged agents would be able to set a line of credit for each client.

1. Correct. Once a line of credit has been established the client, he can only wager based on the account balance with set min/max wager per wager. Example, if a clients balance is starting at $2,000, then they may wager up to $2,000 based on min/max wager per wager. If the clients account balance is positive, for example + $500, then the clients account would be $2,500 and thus allowing the client to wager up to $2,500. However, if the clients balance is negative, for example - $300, then the clients account would be $1,700 and thus allowing the client to wager up to $1,700.

- Logged agents would be able to view the account balance of each client.

1. Yes. Agents must be able to view account balance, open wagers and past wagers for each client up to 2 weeks.

- Clients would be able to Sign Up on the site.

1. No, absolutely not. Only agents are able to sign up clients. Clients send a request to the site. Information captured with the clients request is name, phone number, address, and desired line of credit. Admin sends out requests to agents that a new client is seeking for an account. It is then up to the agent whether they want to take on a new client.
