Highly regarded small nonprofit needs help in setting up a Joomla website to replace traditional HTML website for user friendly updating. We're learning Joomla via online video tutorials and books, but could use an experienced Joomla 1.6 site designer to help us get up and running more quickly. We're overwhelmed by template choices, whether to build locally or on host site, and how to quickly integrate the features we need into it. We are looking for someone that can not only assist on the execution, but also clearly communicate and teach a bit of functionality in the process, working directly with our President. We ideally want a freelancer who is in the New York City area and would have the ability to meet in person. We are conveniently located very close to Grand Central Terminal. We do not have much money in our budget, so we are looking for efficiency by working with you to choose a pre-existing template, provide you with menu mapping, etc. We would like to be able to include constant contact and paypal integration in the site, as well as some extensions that would allow for things such as slide shows.
In order to be considered please submit your samples and portfolio of previous work.
I look forward to seeing all your bids and potentially working with you.
