I am looking to launch a small book online book store like amazon for Quality Books. The idea is to build teams around the authors and their books. from A-Z. There will be a pay per service option and a membership option for Authors to Purchase package services. The developer will need to be familiar on how BOOKS are sold on amazon as well as an understanding of what CREATESPACE does as some of these functions are listed. More than likely we will link to a Print on demand publisher who will provide the order fulfillment of the books ordered that are paperback and hardback, a hot link will generally be provided, you may need to assist in that setup. E books would be downloadable.

Please only provide examples of websites that are of this project nature and that demonstrate similar function and simple design. This website will need to have a clean woodzy airy look. Some of the functions are similar to how amazon works. These are a summary of items listed below, but with some there are some layers there of functionality. This project encompasses design and development, and needs a super clean interface. Cake Php is what we are thinking now for it to be built on.
>There will be 3 types of profiles Author FREE version, AUTHOR PAID Version, Reader Book dashboard of purchased books, and Team profiles. ( Note Author Profiles will have a blog, profile and Author Center to where they submit their docs for approval to the team with a system that would easily time stamp and tile the documents submitted (Admin has to approve all products with a button before it goes live)
> Authors Books that are live and approved will be listed in their Profile/blog
>Author and Team profiles will need a email inbox and be archivable easily and per each team member. ( would it be better to have a team work room? or a really organized email inbox?)
>Author Profiles will need to have a order and royalty history
>Team profiles will need to have a Payment History
>Author and Team Profiles will need to have an integrated calendar schedule with email reminder system that takes into consideration timezone
> Excellent Book Feedback section for the readers who purchase the book
> Author Statistics, such as how many people clicked there book, viewed there Book Preview, or any saleable items stats and shares(open to ideas here)
> Website google analytics plus website book stats , sales etc. available through the admin panel
> Best Seller of the month- Admin Activatable item that is visible on the profile and next to the book itself
> Preview of the books - integrate google viewer
> Paypal Integration for now, but will upgrade to to others soon after such as world pay, sage etc.
