I run a professional article writing company and up until now have been working with clients, writers and editors via email. However, to both automate and expand my business I am looking to have a website designed where it is possible for clients to order articles, and writers and editors to log on in order to complete the articles. It needs to be very aesthetically pleasing, functional and ideally have Wordpress integrated into it for traffic/SEO purposes.
The process of the website needs to be something like this:
1) Have a client register a username and password; fill out an order form detailing the article details (titles, keywords, word count, notes etc)... Then pay for the articles...
2) Articles then get put in a system tray where writers qualified for those genres/niches can pick them up.
3) Writers write the articles in Word and upload them to the system.
4) Editors download and edit the articles, and then upload them back to the system.
5) Clients get a notification that their articles are ready and can then log in to download them (or have them automatically sent via email).
This would also need to keep tabs on who has ordered, written and edited what for payment purposes. As you can see from my current website: [url removed, login to view] I really need the website to be streamlined and pleasant to visit.
Other finer points:
* The website really needs to have a notification system running through it so that if something is missing after the order, we can notify the client, or the editor can notify the writer if something needs adjusting etc.
* There should be the option to create "manager" accounts for people to oversee the whole process and ensure everyone and everything is working as it should.
* On the front, the website will appear as a normal but well designed website with a "log in" option in the header.
* The website obviously needs to be integrated with Paypal.
* The client side of the business will be similar to text broker. Sign up as a client and have a look to get an idea.
No doubt there will be a hundred and one other little changes and notes that I have forgotten to mention. However, I would like to see portfolio's of your work/testimonials as well as your thoughts as to how you plan to design the website/database.
