Dear Sir or Madam:
I have an application which installs a Windows service for looking for new versions on our web site (something like Windows Update). This service is made with Visual Basic 6.
This service is working fine on Windows XP, Vista and Seven. However, on Windows Vista an annoying warning message appears saying that "a program can't display a message on your desktop". We haven't any forms on our service and we removed any msgBox sentences.
We need to know how to solve this issue. We attach the screen shot of the message, as well as the screen shot of the screen that appears when clicking on "Show me the message" button from this warning window.
It should be a very easy project for a person with experience on creating Windows Service over Windows Vista.
