I will have two rectangles in 3D space each with 4 corners A, B, C and D.
I would like some code to translate (move and rotate) one rectangle onto the other. So at the end both rectangles will have the same corrdinates.
The code should also move another point by the same translation. For example if the point was in the center of the first rectangle it would end up in the center of the second.
A rectangle has 4 points: A,B,C,D
A point has 3 values: X,Y,Z
Inputs: rectangle1, rectangle2, OtherPoint
move rectangle1 so that A1 = A2
Rotate rectangle1 with the center of rotation as A1 so that B1=B2
Rotate rectangle1 around the axis (line) which goes through A1 and B1. So that C1=C2 and D1=D1
The solution must not use trial and error.
So it can not just rotate a 100th of a degree at a time until the values are correct.
