Keyword / Field searching through Outlook PST files

We would like program written for the windows platform to assist us in performing keyword searches on archived message stores (PST) from Microsoft Outlook.

These stores routinely exceed 1Gb (but not [url removed, login to view]), and we're finding that we're continually having to perform searches across 60-70gb of data, looking for "emails to person x", or "emails from person y", or emails including a user entered list of keywords.

Obviously, Outlook Advanced find is suitable for this, however its inability to search across multiple PST stores simultaneously causes serious amounts of delay when searching all archived content from 1999 through to 2003 :)

The ability to be able to "batch select" and export entries found to another PST file is critical to our requirements.

The ability to select the "top" directory of our PST archive, and have the package locate all PST files within the subtree, and include those in the "psts to search" list would also be nice functionality to have...

Thats a start anyway :)

## Platform

Operating environment is Windows 2000 - It is preferred that the application is written in either VB, or VB.NET, however other languages will be considered. Windows 2000 is a fixed platform for the solution however.
