I would like a program written for a pc in any visual code. These are the main two parts we are using (open to suggestions) A/D LTC1296DCN and HMC1023 Linear Sensor. The hardware constists of a flat thin pad, with the sensor placed underneath at the middle. Again what we want is in real time to display on the monitor, the movement of the magnetic pen example, if you draw a circle i would see a complete circle)and along with x, y, z cordintates at the bottom of the screen example (x=30 y=20 z=50) I guess a printer port would work best. When the pen is down, that is when it will record movement, when the pen is up it will stop, untill pen is down. Pen up must have a range of what pen up is, example pen up might be 1mm and above from pad serface, and below 1 mm for pen down or better yet a calibrated setup. Example on the gui it will have one button "pen up" when pen is at desired point I click on pen up. This will calibrate how high pen up is to stop recording. Keep in mind x,y and z will range from 0-4095 and also some sort of setup for calibration will be needed to calibrate it. A clear function comand or button in the gui will be needed to clear the screen without reopening the program.
