I am looking to create several RF demo units using the ISM bands of 433, 868 AND 2.4GHz. The objective is to be able to establish the best solution in each particular environment (building) as well as testing the optimum packet size, routing method and protocol. The project will use commercial development kits from the various RF IC vendors. Each project will have 3 components, End device, Router and master device (PC connected).
Skills invloved in this project will be excellent c/c++, RF experience and protocol development. Idealy a knowledge of smartcards and biomtetrics as well. I will consider enthusiastic amatuers and hobbiests who want to gain development experience. Please state which category you fall into when posting replies.
The project could be undertaken by a number of individuals or taken on as a complete task by a single individual/company. If a single individual or company undertakes the project, it is essential that they have prior expereince in this development arena. Communication throughout the project is vital so as to be able to react and change quickly. As the cost of development kits will be high, a face to face meeting prior to commencement of the project will be a prerequisit requirmenet
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
