I need a node.js server and a node.js desktop client built. The client should connect to the server via socket tcp connection. The server is meant to deliver/broadcast custom indicators to the clients. When a message is delivered, the desktop clients should not only display the message but also make a sound and visually notify the user so that they can know that there is a new alert. The message that will be sent to the clients need to either be able to be manually sent from a website or from an automated process that I will explain in private to the contractor that I choose.
