We organise a pick-and-pack for around 20 individual printed products each month for a retail client with around 120 stores in Australia
We would like to build a page to automate the requests for re-sends of individual items each month. Some products get damaged in transit, or are incorrectly packed so there are always a small number of re-sends to various stores each month.
We would have a web-page attached to our website (Posting a link with contact details is not allowed in this site as this may result to account suspension by [url removed, login to view] Administrators) with a secure log-in for a client. The client could log in and look at a list of items which we would enter each month. They could select from the list what they require to be re-sent out, and also select which store the item is to be sent out to from a pull down menu or similar. We know the store list in advance and this would not change month to month.
Each day at a certain time each month, the system would aggregate a list of the re-send requests and send them to a specified email address.
We carry a set amount of 'overs' each month, and when the request to resend an item is made, it reduces the amount of available overs to show a running total.
We would like to attach this simple system to our existing website and have it designed in keeping with our branding etc. Please see [url removed, login to view] for more details. We would like to build it in 2-3 weeks.
