We are seeking a talented design / tech firm that can produce a website exactly to our specifications. This site / project is as follows.
Overview:
A comprehensive one stop classroom website and newsletter provider with intergrated tools for teachers to manager their student data online. This site will allow the teacher to select from preset templates and quickly create a classroom newsletter that will be hosted on our servers.

Full function free email for teachers with automatic account creation upon user verification.

Newsletter/website function.
Point and type newsletter creation. Newsletter can be broadcast to a set contact email list as well as be viewable as website. Past issues will automatically be archived and viewable online.
Will contain Google adwords as well as set banner slots controlled by corporate admin.
Will also provide for picture gallery and online events calander.
Events, photo gallery will be password protected with simple, teacher authorized account creation.
Online calander function controlled by teacher/user admin linked to website.
Community bulletin board for event posting. Teacher controlled admin for deletion.
Private Suggestion Box
Allows parent to make a suggestion to teacher who can then choose to publically post to public view if desired.
The ability for a parent to submit an absentee child report for the teacher. This would tell the teacher the child would not be in school and would be provided via the system to the teacher upon request.
Teacher Back End Tools
Point and click newsletter creation as shown above.
Full data base management including scheduling of events and automatic reminder service for both parent and teacher.
This includes:
The ability for the teacher to easily set up a field and parameters that would for the scheduling of teacher / parent interviews. This would allow the parent to choose the most convenient interview slot from times/dates posted by teacher. Upon selecting date, the interview/meeting would then be automatically updated and a reminder would also be sent to the parent 24 hours in advance.
Student Management Database:
Student name, birthday, parents name, address and comments field and automatic addition to email broadcasting.
Instant Email Broadcast
The ability for the teacher to instantly send email message to all or select group of users.
Private Messaging / Ticketing.
This will act as a secure communication thread between teacher and parent. Allows for ongoing communication that would function like a help desk. Would be accessible for parent through password managed database.
The ability of teacher to have full control over members, the ability to delete and approve accounts as well as ban ip addresses.
This project must be tight and of the highest professional standards both in function and graphic presentation.
Corporate Admin
Full user management / account control.
Email broadcast.
Full control over site including ad slots via admin panel.
Payment terms.
20% upon site framework presentation.
IE: Site structure and reasonable portion of back end complete.
30% upon site completion.
50% upon 60 day debugging term.
