I have an Update SQL Trigger. This works fine as long as there is only 1 row affected in the base table.
I need the trigger to work even when update is on multirows.
The trigger is? caluclating a value? for one of the fields in the updated record based.
A solution where by the "Calculation" is done via Stored Procedure or Constraint is also acceptable.
I will give the current Trigger code to those who are serious about giving me a solution.
Attaching to the bid is the Trigger code as it is now..
When Attempting the following in SQL
UPDATE? CUSTOMERITEMS? SET PERCENTAGE =300
The following is the error I get
Msg 512, Level 16, State 1, Procedure updateFixed, Line 24
Subquery returned more than 1 value. This is not permitted when the subquery follows =, !=, <, <= , >, >= or when the subquery is used as an expression.
The statement has been terminated.
