You can use Joomla, Drupal, Wordpress or a custom solution..whether ASP or PHP. Would just need the site to be as close as possible to design attached and be fast loading and secure.
General Site Requirements
- Fast loading time (5 secs tops on a 56 kbps modem)
- Ability to move around content(see [url removed, login to view])
- Allow for membership signup
- Ability to track people visiting via bookmark or direct visit
- Award points to members who bookmark, set as homepage or refer friends
- Ability to send mass email to member’s email contacts(in gmail, yahoo, msn etc)
- Track site usage by country/section of site(eg. Jamaica vs Trinidad)
- Newsletter signup by site section/country for alerts
- -Ability to navigate by country flag/name.
General CMS function
- Every bit of content added to the site has to be attached to a specific country.
- The site will be navigated by clicking on county’s flags
- CMS will have a master admin and country editors, one person may be appointed as an editor for more than one country.
- Editor should only be able to edit based on sections granted access to and country granted access to.
- Allow members to post items(news, photos, videos, websites, discussions) that have to be moderated by the admin
