We do telemarketing phone calls, we have 4 users of the same excel spreadsheet and it is difficult to manage the data in excel. I want to upload all the data (1900 customer contacts) from Excel spreadsheet in a fast, easy clean import to a database (maybe MySql) that can be accessed from the different users from different locations- all using the same web interface, 1 administrator and 4 users, with capacity to add more general users and also someday have capacity to add an extension for a phone VOIP software.
The users will log on each day, and call customer accounts, and have ability to make comments and update records. Only the Administrator will have rights to "delete" a record. I would like the interface to have functions of running a monthly report of each users calls, and sales, etc. Something simple, similar to ACT sales database or like another telemarketing company.
I have a dedicated server running other websites, I can create a new website for this web interface on my dedicated server, or just rent another shared server with another hosting company- any advice is helpful to make this easy and not expensive.
