I am looking for an expert who needs how to work with ffmpeg on my dedicated linux server. I run a website where members can upload their videos similar to youtube.
The problem I have is that when an HD video gets uploaded ruffly 150mb, when the script converts the video file on the server, the resolution is lost and the file size on the server increases and video quality looks crappy.
I am currently running Boonex Dolphin 7 script. If possible, can the current script be modified so when an HD video gets uploaded the quality is the same as when I uploaded and at the same can the file size be optimized on the server.
Another option would be to totally modify the script and create a custom upload solution and convertor solution aside what dolphin 7 has built in.
Please recommend your thoughts.
