aMember implementation expert
We are looking for someone to implement an aMember based subscription system.
We currently have a subscription site based on Joomla (1.5.6) and Joomsuitemember to handle subscriptions but want to disable the Joomla user management system, place our Joomla site in a subdirectory and protect that directory with aMember software.
We’d like to convert all the current paid members in the Joomsuite member system into the aMember system. If we can retain user passwords that would be preferred, otherwise once the conversion is completed, we’d like to email all users new passwords.
The system will need to be implemented on a live server, but with hidden URLs to avoid interruption of the live site.
We have a working SSL and working live [url removed, login to view] account that will be utilized.
We are open to suggestions on how to best achieve what we are looking for, but have become frustrated with the Joomla ACL and available subscription options.
Our desired scenario is this - We don’t actually want to integrate the Joomla site and aMember users. We will have a separate small PHP site in the root directory with aMember integrated into it to allow members to get information about our content, subscribe or login. Upon login they are directed to the joomla site in a subdirectory which integrates one of the aMember directory based protection schemes. We no longer want to use the Joomla user system except for content admins.
The quote we need is for :
* Installing aMember
* Integrating our SSL and [url removed, login to view] account
* Integrating the portal PHP site with amember
* Protecting the joomla subdirectory installation with aMember
* Hourly rate for work outside of scope
