I need a 748x60 graphic creating as a header for my brother's personal web site ([url removed, login to view]). Ideally this graphic should include a 'logo' that is also supplied as a separate image suitable for use in other designs (e.g. business card, link buttons, banners).
There is a fair amount of freedom in choosing a design for the header so long as it compliments the style of the rest of the page and doesn't detract from the content (by standing out too much for example). The content on the sample page above is typical of what will be published on the site. My brother has attempted a rough stab at a header and this can be found here ([url removed, login to view]).
Please provide examples of previous work (applicants who fail to provide samples will not be considered). I will expect the selected artist to produce two or three drafts of different ideas for final selection and refinement. Finished images should be provided in original format (e.g. photoshop, fireworks, paint shop pro) and in a format optimised for the web (e.g. jpg). Usual considerations for web based images to apply; colours used, download time, etc.
