2D Multiplayer Game w/ Website

Hello!

My project is very simple.

This yet-to-be-named website will house a web-based multiplayer 2D game. I want it to be a replica of a discontinued game called "Battlefield" that was hosted on a no-longer-running website([url removed, login to view]).

My project is very simple.

Basically, I want you to replicate an enhanced version of the game pictured in this thread:

Note the background art as well as how the tank looks, I need this game to be very similar. This is an angled overhead game. The image is about 2x smaller than it should be in this project. With that said, I will further explain this game. It should be written in a language that is not prone to attacks, remote code injections, or hackers to prevent cheating. The main server will hold several in-game servers that hold maps with different terrain-types, these maps should be very large and the art should be similar to that in the image I showed you. Each "terrain-type" means snowy, foresty, desert, etc. Each has it's own cover opportunities and terrain [url removed, login to view] terrain blocks can be harvested and placed by the tank to provide cover, and allow teams of tanks to make bases. The blocks can only be harvested and placed one at a time by each tank, however. There terrain blocks can also be pushed. The terrain blocks should only be slightly larger than the tank, but fit together perfectly to create good-looking 1-layer forts and walls. Terrain blocks do not respawn, but respawn every match. Matches last several hours. The tank should be able to move angled(i.e. holding both the up and right arrow keys will angle it between the up and right movements). There should be a fuel system, and fuel should be laying around random spots of the maps, along with other power ups. Tanks should be able to teleport a limited number of times throughout the map during one life.

There will be 4 colors of tanks, each color represents a team or faction. There will be a long ranking system using professional military ranks, (like corporal or colonel), but each rank will have 6 steps before ranking up. The highest rank should require a LOT of points. There should be a toggleable map that will show where different tanks are according to color. Different weapons should be unlocked at higher ranks. We want privates to run away from lieutenants. Tanks should be able to lay a set number of mines, but can pick up more around the map. Powerups around the map should be fairly scarce. And there should be a suicide button for those out of fuel or stuck. Shooting should simply be a point-and-click thing, but there will be a small delay between the time of the click, and the shooting for the cannon, and all the shots in between. A player should be able to drive away or teleport in the middle of a battle. Everything is real-time in the world, including the shooting. Users should be required to register before playing so that the server can save points for the player along with rank, unlocked weapons, etc. The website should have a leaderboard and a forum, and have a simple, but relevant layout.

The HUD should be a vertical bar on the left side of the screen with the options to change weapon(mines, missiles, etc) There should be a rank-limit for each set of servers to prevent trolling and griefing.(Beginner servers will support ranks private to specialist) There should also be a simple chat system on the bottom of the screen. The game should have a fullscreen toggle.

Registered players can choose to buy the game for tank customization, and the ability to join their own team by picking a variety of colors that are not too similar to faction colors. They can also choose to buy tank upgrades (like making their tank 3% faster, or have 3% more fuel efficiency.)

There should be user-levels within the game, admins will have full control over banning, profile editing(rank,points,etc), and other tasks, as moderators will moderate chat, kicking, and deduction of points. There should be an admin panel that has settings I can change like match-time if I wanted to change it from 2 hours, or if I wanted to change significant settings in the game. I should also be able to add upgrades through this panel and define the changes to the tanks without messing with any code. Different ranks should unlock special creative perks for the player.

That pretty much sums it up.
