I need a clone of www.peopledata.com. You'll need to know where they're getting their data from. The database must be a local database so the site queries are not remote. If this is a database I have to purchase please let me know so I can consider that cost. On second hand, I will consider a remote query if remote queries are cheap enough. The remote server must know we're going to be querying from them and a legal deal/purchase must be worked out. I don't want to leech data from a remote server. If it's local, you can use either a binary database or MySQL. I prefer MySQl although I have heard binary databases can be pretty fast. If you choose MySQL I need you to efficiently design the database SQL so it can handle dozens if not hundreds of queries a second. I want the web interface to be coded in perl as well.
